Summer Symposium
Our Summer Symposium is transitioning to an every-other-year event to ensure we continue delivering a high-quality, meaningful experience for our community. While we won’t be hosting a Summer Symposium in 2026, we’re already looking ahead and excited to bring this wellness-focused gathering back in 2027.
​We look forward to welcoming you back for an enriching experience centered on connection, reflection, and rejuvenation in a beautiful retreat-style setting. Stay tuned for future updates as we begin planning the next Summer Symposium!
Event Information
2025 Pricing - School Social Work Summer Symposium:​

SSWAA Member Rate: $270 (Basic, Full, and Premier Members)

​Non-Member Rate: $330 (includes a 1-year Basic Membership to SSWAA)
Note: SSWAA offers different membership tiers (Basic, Full, and Premier). All SSWAA members enjoy the same discounted rate of $270 for the Summer Symposium. Individuals who are not members of SSWAA can register at the non-member rate, which includes 1-year Basic Membership to SSWAA.
CE Information
School Social Work Association of America SSWAA, #1789, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. School Social Work Association of America SSWAA maintains responsibility for this course. ACE provider approval period: 07/27/2023 – 07/27/2026. Social workers participating in this conference will receive up to 8.5 continuing education credits.

Note: Many state licensing boards impose specific limitations on course content, distance education, or other elements of continuing education, even when courses are taken from approved providers. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that the courses taken will meet the requirements for your license.

SSWAA will once again host our Summer Symposium at the stunning Cliff Lodge at Snowbird in Snowbird, Utah. All reservations should be made by May 26, 2025.
Guests have a few options to make reservations, they can call, email, or go online to book. If guests are, then they can call or email Snowbird Central Reservations, they should identify themselves as a part of group # SSWA25 for SSWAA Summer Retreat in June of 2025.
