SOCIAL JUSTICE & EQUITY AWARD

The Social Justice and Equity Award honors a practicing or retired school social worker who is an active SSWAA member and has demonstrated exceptional leadership in promoting equity, justice, and inclusive practices within schools. This award recognizes individuals who have made a meaningful impact through culturally responsive practice, advocacy at the local, state, or national level, and innovative efforts that support diverse populations, ultimately championing fairness, challenging systemic barriers, and fostering environments where all students can thrive.
