Countdown to Game Time: The School Social Work Team Needs YOU!

In high school, playing sports was my outlet and a way to engage with friends, teammates, and my school community.  I was highly competitive and would get hyped up before a big game!  The bigger the game the greater my pre-game jitters.  I had a strange reaction as I would yawn before a big game.  But, my coach knew I was not tired – but rather this was my reaction as the anticipation would build before the game buzzer would sound.

The clock is ticking, and the excitement is building—it's almost GAME TIME for our School Social Work Awareness Campaign!

The playbook is ready, the strategy is set, and we’ve got some incredible ambassadors on the roster. Currently, we have 56 ambassadors signed up with over 660 collective years’ experience from 23 states.  But to win BIG for our profession, we need an all-star team representing every state!

Are You Ready to Get in the Game?

This campaign is more than just another initiative—it’s our chance to make history for school social work. We’re tackling tough issues like role misunderstandings, fair pay, student ratios, and title protection. The stakes are high, but with a strong team, we know we can score real change!

Why We Need YOU on the Field

We’ve got a solid start with ambassadors who are fired up and ready to go. But if we’re going to move the chains and reach every corner of the country, we need a FULL ROSTER. Whether you’re in the big city or a small town, your voice matters. Every ambassador brings us one step closer to victory! We still need star players to join our team of Ambassadors from states including: Alabama, Alaska, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Michigan, Ohio, North Dakota, South Dakota, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington DC, West Virginia, Oklahoma, Alaska, and Hawaii. Can you fill out our all-star roster?

There’s a Role for Everyone—Choose Your Play!

You don’t have to carry the ball alone. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a first-time advocate, there’s a spot for you and we have coaches and a play book ready to provide training:

Engage Locally: Share campaign messages with your school leaders and colleagues.

Get Social: Amplify our message on social media—use our ready-made graphics and posts!

Raise Your Voice: Speak up at community events, connect with media, or share your story.

Behind the Scenes: Help with strategy, collect data, provide feedback, or support other ambassadors.

Together, We Can Win This!

Imagine the impact of school social workers from coast to coast, standing together with one powerful message: We are essential. We are experts. We are ready to lead.

So, let’s lace up, hit the field, and bring our A-game! Sign up today to become an ambassador and join a national team that’s ready to score a major win for our profession!

Stay Tuned: Our official campaign launch is just around the corner. Until then, keep that game face on, and let’s build this momentum!
