Recorded intentionally for remote, asynchronous learners, these conference sessions share knowledge and expertise from school social work practitioners and scholars across the country.

Registering for the 2026 Virtual Conference will give you access to ELEVEN sessions that share knowledge and expertise from school social work practitioners and scholars across the country – including up to 12 CEs – for six full weeks, viewable via SSWAAed, our on-demand learning platform.

Invoices and Purchase Orders are not accepted after close of business on July 20, 2026. After July 20, 2026, payment must be made online at time of registration via credit card.

Unconfirmed payments as of August 10, 2026 may result in delayed access to virtual content. Make plans to ensure adequate payment timing if registering with a Purchase Order so that check payment is received during approved payment period. Purchase Orders are a promise to make payment and are not considered payment confirmation.

Virtual Conference attendees will not receive access to the virtual conference via learning management system platform until payment has been received. Delayed payment confirmation may result in delayed access to content.

Refund Policy: No refunds offered for Virtual Conference. Since the event is a virtual event, all content will be available to registrants via recording and is not dependent upon attendance/participation at the live and/or virtual event(s).

Virtual Conference 2026 content is offered for on-demand viewing for six (6) weeks. On-demand recordings will be available from August 10 at 9:00 EST, 2026 thru September 20, 2026 at 11:59pm EST. No extensions will be granted.

Virtual Conference max CE Total = 12 CEs

School Social Work Association of America SSWAA, #1789, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. School Social Work Association of America SSWAA maintains responsibility for this course. ACE provider approval period: 07/27/2023 – 07/27/2026. Social workers participating in this conference will receive up to 12.0 continuing education credits.

Please note: CE approval is per state discretion. State licensing boards may impose specific limitations on course content, distance education, and/or other elements of continuing education, even when courses are taken from approved providers. It is the sole responsibility of the learner to ensure that the courses taken will meet the requirements for their state-specific licensure.

Attention New Yorkers: SSWAA's 2026 Virtual Conference does not provide New York (NYSSSWA) registration for approved CE Credits.

After start of event (August 10), registrations, including final payment completion, may experience delay of 3-5 business days to receive access to conference materials

2026 Virtual Conference sessions open August 10, 2026 at 9:00am EST and closes September 20, 2026 at 11:59pm EST. Please plan your participation and completion of all CE requirements accordingly to ensure adequate time for all needed sessions. No extensions available; no exceptions.

Registrations cannot transfer from in-person event to virtual event; Registration for each event is distinct and separate. SSWAA's virtual conference is NOT an extension of the in-person annual conference; it is an alternative approach for those unable to attend the in-person event.

After start of event on August 10: Registrants may not gain immediate access to the virtual learning platform with the conference content; Access to virtual conference via on-demand learning platform may take 3 to 5 business days from date of registration payment confirmation.
