The School Social Work Association of America’s (SSWAA’s) 27th Annual National Conference in Baltimore, MD, will be held March 12-15, 2024. Can you believe it is already time to kick off planning and preparation for our Annual Conference?!?! Well... believe it!

CELEBRATING 30 YEARS!!

This year SSWAA is celebrating 30 years and we cannot wait to see you at our Annual Conference! To kick off our Conference Registration season, I wanted to stop by and let you in on the details and get you ready for success as you journey with us to Maryland this coming March - prepared to Engage, Elevate, and Expand our profession together once again!!😊

***We will have a special 30th Birthday Gala (do not forget to wear your 30-year anniversary colors---GREEN, GOLD, and PEARLS to celebrate with us!!)

Conference Registration

Conference Registration will open on September 18, 2023! (That's NOW!!) Keep an eye on our Conference Webpage for all the details as they roll out. Did you see we have already posted the Conference Rates for this year?

Reminders for Registration

Just in case you didn’t realize, or in case you were unable to join us in person last year...I want to remind all of our AMAZING SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKERS that the SSWAA National Conference has sold out over the past couple of years.

Plan ahead and be sure you register before we sell out!! We have pre-pandemic contracts which continue to limit our registration size limits. If we sell out, we CANNOT re-open registration due to the aforementioned restrictions. ...When the registration window closes, it is CLOSED.

Registration Tips Continued:

• Want to work with your administration to help cover the cost of conference? SSWAA has just the document for you!! See our Request to Administration Letter to help you submit a request ASAP to your school leaders (Click the Request Letter Tab on our Conference page)!! 😊

• Remember: Making Reservations at the Conference Hotel DOES NOT guarantee your Conference Registration. SSWAA’s tip: Complete your Conference Registration FIRST, and then Book your accommodations and flight details (SECURE YOUR CONFERENCE SPOT FIRST!!)

• Get yourself ready by reviewing all of SSWAA’s Conference Policies.

Early Bird Rates

This year, for our 27th Annual National Conference (March 12-15, 2024), Early Bird Registration will open on September 18, 2023, and will end on October 31, 2023 (6 Weeks). Early Bird Rates will require payment at the time of registration via Credit Card. (***No Invoices will be accepted until after Early Bird Registration closes***). If you would like to select an Invoice to pay by Purchase Order, you will be able to register starting on November 1, 2023.

Selecting your Sessions

After Registering for the 27th Annual National Conference, you will receive an auto-generated confirmation email from our registration system. You will then receive an email from SSWAA Staff to notify you that you have been added to the Conference App so you can go in and select your sessions—LATER THIS FALL (you will not make your session selections until the Conference App is opened, later in the Fall 2023)— (space is limited, no exceptions will be made...once a session is full, please make another selection).

Early Bird Registrants will have 1-full week of priority session selection once Session Selection in the App is open (Later Fall 2023).
