Webinar - Essential Tools for Effective Homevisits

The profession of school social work was pioneered circa 1906 by teachers who sought to bridge communication between the school and home through the work of home visiting. As a result, home visiting has remained the cornerstone of our profession, but little instruction is provided through education or professional development. This webinar will focus on the effectiveness of purposeful home visiting, safety considerations, and cultural competencies necessary for productive outcomes. Additionally, participants will connect the practice of home visiting to the SSW National Practice model. This webinar is eligible for 1 CEU.
