SSWAA is committed to returning to an in-person format for our annual National Conference.  SSWAA believes that there is great value in gathering in person for networking and professional engagement.  However, SSWAA also understands that individuals, schools, and communities continue to be impacted by the current pandemic. Therefore, SSWAA has made arrangements to provide a virtual option for individuals who are not able to travel for the in-person event.  

 

What is included in the virtual option?

• SSWAA will record pre-selected sessions during the live conference event. 

• Individuals who choose to register for the virtual sessions, will have access to 8 pre-selected sessions (11.5 CEs). 

• Virtual attendees will have access to these sessions over 6 weeks in an on-demand platform (April 18-May 29, 2022).  

• Individuals will be required to watch the full recorded session, complete a post-test (80% passing rate), and complete an evaluation for credit.  Once a virtual session is started it must be watched in its entirety (no pausing).​

• Upon completion, individuals will be able to immediately download a certificate for their records.   

• Access will end on May 29, 2022 and individuals should plan accordingly to ensure time to complete all sessions.  SSWAA strongly encourages participants to complete their sessions as early as possible and not wait until the last days to avoid any issues with access or technology.

Please note that SSWAA will determine which 8 sessions will be recorded and available for virtual attendees. No pre-conference sessions will be recorded and offered during the virtual event. Virtual sessions will be closed captioned.
