cookbook

The School Social Work Association of America (SSWAA) is creating a custom cookbook featuring favorite recipes from our members, friends and followers. Anyone is welcome to contribute! These cookbooks will be professionally published and are sure to be a treasured keepsake for us all.

Please submit up to 2 of your favorite recipes so you can be represented in our cookbook.  To make sure everyone that is interested can contribute, we are limiting each person to 2 recipe contributions for different categories so we have variety as well. We would love to receive family recipes that are special to you, as well as cultural and regional recipes. Recipes will be displayed with author's name and state. We are using Morris Press Cookbook’s web site to easily submit recipes online.

In addition to collecting recipes for food, SSWAA would also like to collect a “recipe” for school social work success. In the space titled, “Recipe Notes” at the bottom of your recipe entry page, you can include a recipe for school social work success. This “recipe” can include a tip for self-care, longevity in the field, and/or how to experience joy in this professional journey. Feel free to make it personal and fun!

Cookbooks will be available for purchase in Fall 2021 and will also include a digital copy with purchase. We will send out a notification once the details regarding the cookbook specifications have been finalized as well as include a price per cookbook.

Recipe submissions are due by September 1, 2021.
