National Book Award 

The School Social Work Association of America (SSWAA) is pleased to announce the National Book Award to be presented at the 2020 SSWAA Annual Conference in Baltimore.  SSWAA would like to recognize the author(s) of exemplary print or electronic books in the field of school social work. Books must have a copyright year of 2019-2020.

 

Authors are asked to submit 5 copies of the nominated book and supporting materials such as journal/print reviews and reader reports to:

Award Criteria:

  • Publication written about or for school social workers

  • Content makes a significant contribution to the body of knowledge of school social work

  • Content demonstrates a clear application to practice

 

The winner will be honored at the 2020 SSWAA National Conference in Baltimore. 

Attach a letter (up to two pages explaining why the nominated book should receive the award based on the selection criteria.
