My name is Sheri Olson and I currently live in Mead, Colorado with my husband Steve and a few fur babies. We moved to Colorado a few years ago from Illinois because we love the mountains and had the opportunity to move closer to our three grown children. I have worked as a school social worker for the past 13 years and in a leadership capacity for two. I am now the school social worker at Mountain View High School in Loveland, Colorado. Prior to moving to Colorado, I served on the Illinois Association of School Social Workers (IASSW) board for several years as a regional representative and conference committee member. I am currently working with the Colorado School Social Work Association (CSSWA) board. Being a school social worker is more then a job for me, its a passion. I believe that school social workers play a critical role in supporting students, families and the educational system. I am excited to work with our western states to promote the value of school social workers as well as increase the visibility of our profession. Together we support students, families and our schools and together we support each other!
