Workshop Proposals:  Doing fabulous things in your district? Have a great tool you are using to measure outcomes? Have you been using evidence based practices you would like to share? Do you have a wealth of experience in a topic of interest to School Social Workers? Have you been conducting research impacting services provided by school social workers? We need you to share your expertise and experience with others.

Poster Sessions:  Students and/or faculty are also encouraged to submit Poster Session Proposals. Every year we have a few more and would like to highlight research projects even more. Don’t delay. Poster Session  Proposals are due by September 30, 2015!     Click here to submit Poster Session Application. 

A Note to Vendors:  We greatly welcome presentations by our Exhibiting Vendors.  Please know that most of our attendees are School Social Workers who possess at least an MSW and many are also licensed by their states as Clinical Social Workers.   Not a lot of time (if any) is needed regarding the issues or problems.  Our attendees are looking for strategies, tools and information that they can utilize when they return to their offices.

In 2016 we would like to feature a Research to Practice Track that will highlight School Social Work Research including innovative approaches to ways researchers and practitioners work together to evaluate practice and programs providing tangible practice implications for School Social Workers. If you would like to submit to this track please check below.

Please provide up to 100 word description that can be used as an abstract for the conference brochure.
Please provide three goals and learning objectives. Submissions that do not include learning goals and objectives WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
Power Point presenters are asked to PROVIDE YOUR OWN LAPTOP. LCD Projectors will be provided. All other AV equipment and INTERNET ACCESS must be provided by the presenter or through arrangements with the hotel at your own expense.

SSWAA does not provide for presenters to be paid for workshop presentations. Main presenter and up to two co-presenters will be offered a discount off their pre/full or full conference registration. Contact Rebecca Kunkel Oliver if there will be more than 3 presenters for discount information. *Discount is not applicable to one day registrations.
