Florida's Official Black History Month Artist Comes to Nashville!

"Art is a powerful tool to evoke social change. Without uttering a single word, artists can enlighten, educate and effect change around the world!"

This year we are again thrilled to have with us Child Advocacy Artist George E. Miller, II, from at our 19th National School Social Work Conference Exhibit Hall.  For those of you who have attended in the past, you will remember his colorful and impactful artwork featuring numerous scenes and messages for children and youth.   George was selected by Florida's First Lady Ann Scott & Governor Rick Scott to be the featured artist for Black History Month 2015.  George was also featured in a video for  "The Chat" regarding his work.   Bring your checkbook or credit cards as you visit George and others in our Conference Exhibit Hall.

"It is important that we surround ourselves with positive imagery. The colors alone can affect our moods but I also believe that the overall message can change our minds, lift our spirits and nourish our souls!" -George E. Miller II
