School social work practice, policy, and research is on the move...pass it on!

A working group founded at the Society for Social Work and Research has established  a Special Interest Group (SIG) focusing on School Social Work Research. SIG Mission Statement: to advance child and adolescent well-being and  academic success through the development and dissemination of school social work research, scholarship, and practice theories. (Approved after SSWR 2007)  SSW-SIG is pleased to announce that the School Social Work Special Interest Group has a new website as of 2014!  The new site will henceforth be hosted and maintained by the School of Social Work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  With the SSW-SIG's permission, SSWAA and the SSW-SIG will share cross links and resources.  Check out this site for a wealth of resources for Researchers interested in School Social Work.   Click here.
