Idaho School Social Workers successful in maintaining their state certification

School Social Workers in Idaho learned today that the Director of Certification and Professional standards in the Idaho State Department of Education along with the Standards Committee has reached a decision in the matter concerning discontinuation of the school social work certificate in the state of Idaho. The Director, Christina Linder, wrote in part ... "a unanimous decision was put forward to maintain the current certificate for school social workers."
School Social Workers in Idaho made a strong presention to the Standards Committee on Monday June 15th and additionally presented letters of support on behalf of keeping the current certification standards and process in place. SSWAA Executive Director, Frederick Streeck, submitted a letter of support from SSWAA to the Standards committe as well.
Congratulations go out the the School Social Workers in Idaho.
