SSWAA COMBINED STATE AND NATIONAL MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION

Combined membership is only available in 24 state's whose organization is officially affiliated with SSWAA. These include Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virgina, Washington and Wisconsin at this time. Other states will be added to this list as they become affiliated with SSWAA. Combined membership, is when you join your state association and SSWAA both at the same time using either the SSWAA Combined Application form or by following the process your state prefers.  Arizona, Mississippi and Pennsylvania will use the combined membership application form below.  If you live in the other states, information about the combined membership application is on your state association website and you should go to that site for specifics to complete you combined state and national membership. This process saves you money because your SSWAA due's are reduced and you still get the same great member benefits such as Liability Insurance, Reductions on Books and Journals, Conference Discounts and more. On-line member registration is not available with the combined membership form.  If you are not from one of the 24 affiliate states listed above, you should use the standard membership application form in the SSWAA Membership Registration box below.

Regular/Full $120.00 A person who meets a state's requirements for the position of school social worker (however that position is titled in a given state) or who has an MSW, and is actively employed by a public or private school or state education agency providing school social work services. A person who meets the requirements for the position of school social worker and who is employed as an administrator or supervisor. A university faculty person involved in school social work instruction or supervision. Affiliate/Retired $60.00 A person eligible for Active Membership may become an Affiliate Member if retired or unemployed. Affiliate Members shall have all the rights of Active Members. Student $60.00 Expected date of graduation *Required A person enrolled in a college level study of social work, with an interest in school social work. Students shall hold all the rights and privileges of Active Membership, except to hold office. Associate $120.00 A professional person working in an agency which provides services to children. Additional persons, if they perform similar functions to school social work and are authorized within their state to do so, may be Associate Members.
